Update 1

Pop Up Play Program in 2018

Funded by the Department of Commuities, Child Safety under the Connect2Families initiative, this project idea was created in consultation with Gympie Community Place, Gympie Local Level Alliance and the Reaching Families Working Group, in response to the "State of Children in the Gympie Region" 2017 report. The broad aim of the project is to find out how we can better support families and the local community to improve outcomes for all children in the region. We want to know how we can better connect and support families, especially those who are geographically or socially isolated, disadvantaged or affected by hardship.

The Pop Up Play program will be providing play stations in various locations in 2018, including Gympie, Mary Valley, Curra, Kilkivan and the Cooloola Coast area. Play stations will provide free, facilitated play sessions for parents to join their children in having fun! All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
